Hi Barry, I would not worry too much about the underlining, if it is a hard to get item people will still be prepared to buy, just make sure that you accuratley describe the condition of the book and any faults such as marks, creases underlining etc. I usualy always describe the book as one level doen from its true condition. So if it is excellent I describe it as very good. It just protects you if you should get a complaint about the condition. Just run a check on Amazon and see what these may be worth.

Thanks for this post.

I have a ton of used non fiction books that I was hoping to re-read some day but they keep coming out with new ones! I think I’ll follow up with your advice and see if I can get rid of a few through Amazon.

I wonder how people feel about underlining in books? Does this destroy the value or make them unsaleable? I can’t seem to read without a pen so I may be the permanent owner of those books.
