Promoting affiliate products is big business, but and this is a big but, just at the moment it has itself rather a bad name.
You may ask why? The answers are very simple, how many e-mails do you get on a daily or even weekly basis trying to sell you the next best thing? In my case the answer is several hundred a day (yes really) how many times do these e-mails offer you something for free to thank you for subscribing, maybe a free product or free report? Maybe some tips or training to get you started online, or as in most cases is it just sell, sell, sell, anything and everything?
Are you fed up of the next must have product being promoted by gurus only to find the next day (sometimes even the same day) they are promoting some other half baked trash. And how do they know these products or systems work? Have they had time to try them out and see the results they boast about, I think not! These ‘gurus’ always have the answer or the next best way of parting you from your cash. There is a lot of rubbish out there believe me, but the excellent stuff too often get lumped in with the rest by association.
There must surely be a better way than this and there is. It is simply to promote only those products that are tried and tested or are from a respected marketer with a track record of delivering excellence, those whose products will be of use to your subscribers and that deliver outstanding value.
John Thornhill has produced a report based on his years of experience as an affiliate, ethical marketer and 100% honest guy. You can grab it here completely for free.
John has also recorded some free training in the form of an audio interview with well known UK marketer Randy Smith. Randy has included a free report based on his successful promotion of John and Dave Nicholson’s Multi Profit Websites using a proto-type of John successful Affiliate Promo Formula. This stuff makes for interesting reading and should be read by anyone who wants to start a business online or before you buy any other products touted by the churn and burn brigade. Rob………

Hi Robert
Well said my friend, I couldn’t agree more. I don’t envy you having to wade through several hundred emails a day though.
Personally I am beginning to believe that 99% of the stuff being promoted is rubbish and I can count on one hand the lists I am on.
There are not many so called gurus out there that I trust, perhaps I am being ultra cautious or maybe just cynical but I haven’t been severely burned as yet.
I may be wrong but I think all the information you will ever need can be found in either the Masterclass course or in the MC forum. Time will tell!

Hi Bill, don’t worry about being cautious its the unethical marketers that will part us from our cash the fastest! I am now un subcribing to anyone’s mailing list who does not offer any value, I am sure this will reduce my e-mails by 90%/
Cheers

Hey Rob,
I have to agree with you here, being an affiliate is an online business in it’s own right..
BUT…
Tghere are far to many rogue sellers out there just trying to make as much money as they can by peddling rubbish..
OR…
Products that simply just do not work anymore!
I too un-subscribed from sellers that just PUSH the sale, I find I can focus on wholesome quality products to promote myself as a seller!
Great post on ‘affiliate selling’…
AND…
JTS excellent Affiliate Promo Formula…
Take care Rob….Ed.

Hi Ed thanks for the comments, its nice to see a promotion from an ethical marketer rather than the ones that fill up my inbox on a daily basis.

Hi Rob
It can be a right pain in the ass with the barrage of so called big gurus sending out the next big thing on a daily basis without a thought of the end user or the newbie, infact they look at the newbie as there own little cash cow!
Thankfully we have been fortunate to find an ethical marketer in John Thornhill, and yes I have already bought Affilaiate Promo through his friend Dave Nicholson and John certainly zigs when the others zags!
All the best
Nick

Hi Nick, had a great tip given to me to avoid wasting time from the spam and spam marketers easy only check e-mails twice a day and just delete all their e-mails without reading them. The time I have gained is amazing, of course I always read the ones from those that I trust. I have yet to unsubscribe as this will take up valuable hours.
Cheers
Rob
