Review of 2016 and Plans for 2017.

December 29, 2016 By Robert Corrigan Leave a Comment

Firstly, I know it’s a bit early, (these posts are supposed to go out on New Years Day, but there is something massive coming just after New Year and I didn’t want this post to be a distraction) but let me wish you all a very happy New Year and may it be both peaceful and profitable for you and yours.

The New Year is a time to look forward but it’s also a time for reflection on how far we have come and how much we have achieved in the past year. Sometimes we find that we have achieved far more than we think we have.

So here goes my review of 2016. Early January, I spoke to my good friend Steve King who I have known since we were both members of John Thornhill’s Masterclass of 2009. The Masterclass is where we learned to produce our own products. Steve had found a series of profitable eBay niches and had released a series of products under the umbrella name of Easy Auction Income (EAI).

As my first online business venture was eBay and I still trade there today, we spoke about EAI and Steve asked me to come on board with a view to expanding the business idea.

I had had a review copy of EAI 1 “Selling Prints on eBay,” and I had spotted that he had missed a big trick as there was another very lucrative niche you could exploit. With a small twist you could use the same content to produce and sell posters on eBay.

So I tried it out in secret and it just plain worked! So I wrote a bonus report for the product outlining the strategy and few little areas to expand into. Steve asked if I could maybe put together about 6 or 7 videos to show the process with a view to releasing it as EAI 3. So I put together 31 videos and we released it as “Profit from Posters” in May of 2016.

bundle

Profit From Posters

We also looked a putting together a continuity programme of a different eBay or related idea each month for 12 months. And so EAI Platinum was born, by the time you read this we will have month nine completed.

platinum-bundle

I also released two products of my own “Plugin Auction Profits” my complete eBay system for both newbie’s and the more experienced seller. Also my Platinum & Gold programs under the “Plugin Auction Profits” banner, where I take all the hard work out of it for you was also was also released as part of the package.

Plugin Auction Profits

In November, I launched the latest update to my best selling programme, 12 Roads to Success. Originally written in 2010, it has been revised and updated.  I plan in 2017 to publish 12 Roads to Success as a print edition using Createspace so look for it (and the training course that goes with it in 2017.

3

12 Roads To Success

So what of 2017, what’s the game plan? Well 2017 will see the launch of mine and Steve’s very own Internet Coaching Monthly Academy where we work with you to produce your own products. It’s our flagship program and in it we show you exactly how to build your own business online in exactly the same way that we have. Nothing is left out, no guess work just straight forward stuff that works in our business today.

But, does that mean I have given up on the smaller stuff? Far from it, the smaller stuff is vitally important. So in early 2017 I will be launching my next product which is a very easy to do eBay business where the products you sell cost absolutely nothing and you keep all the profit. I’m not giving too much away just yet as I want to make this cut and paste simple.

I will also be doing a “done for you service” where all I supply the product, I supply the graphics and I host the images in the listing. It really doesn’t get much simpler than this.

A little bit later will see the launch of EAI 4 (but it won’t be called this!). Again taking a very simple approach to yet another profitable eBay business.

Look, I will be straight with you these little niches businesses won’t make you a millionaire, and I would never make such a claim. But these are little niches that can add a few hundred dollars a month (maybe a few thousand) to your monthly income for very little effort. They are easy to run from the kitchen table and require just a few dollars to start up.

Nothing to do with marketing but I will also be producing an illustrated print guide to the Wirral Way a 12 mile footpath close to my home. The only existing guide was published in the 1970’s so is way out of date. I don’t expect to make a penny from this! It is a pure vanity project but you never know if enough people are interested then I will reveal all. This will take most of the year as I want to capture the flavour of the walk in all seasons so this may go over into 2018.

So a busy year in store, it may seem as though I am never away from my computers, but here’s a confession. I only work about 10 hours a week, yes really, and all from my home office. The reason is I took massive action years ago to build my own business and in 2017 I am going to provide you with all the tools that will help you succeed online just as I have.

Anyway before this get too wordy I would just like to say thank you for your support in the past year and I hope that the coming year gives you everything you wish for.

Rob

p.s. I will be blogging a lot more in 2017!

Review Of The Year 2015 & Plans For 2016

December 31, 2015 By Robert Corrigan 6 Comments

Sometimes you just get a major shock, much like the one that I got when I started to write this blog post. You see the last time I posted on it was 8 months ago!

I knew it had been a while but it really did come as a big shock.,,

Anyway 2015 has seen some big changes in my life on a personal and professional level. I have moved home which was a major change, its unreal the amount of things that we accumulate over the years. Then comes the big decision about what is worth keeping, what can be reused by someone else and what really needs to be tipped.

The great thing about my move is that I have considerably more space and for the first time in 15 years a dedicated office. I am refitting the new place gradually and the office is very nearly done.

During 2015, I also have completed 4 products, including the long winded Kindle product, The ePublishing Roadmap. This was launched at the end of September and went on to gross over $6,000 during the five day launch.

It was also awarded the prestigious product of the day by JV Zoo and even beat the Rich Jerk!

POD

I have also completely revamped, my flagship eBay product Plugin Auction Profits, this is scheduled for re-launch during April of 12016. More details closer to the time.

Also complete is a product in a software niche which I hope to launch in Feb/March, but before that at the end of Jan I am launching a product with my good friend Steve King concerning eBay. Did I tell you I am big into eBay?

No clues!!! Oh ok then, take a look at the graphic. This is an amazing little niche on eBay and just so simple to do it defies description.

header-eg

I am also working on a few other products with Steve for release in the coming months.

So a busy year ahead on all fronts.

May I take this opportunity to wish all peace and prosperity in the coming year.

Why eBay Is Not Dead!

March 8, 2015 By Robert Corrigan 3 Comments

Recently I have had several discussions with other eBay traders and none of the comments were terribly complimentary either on my part or on the part of the other traders. The biggest complaints were that they are not making much money in their traditional markets and eBay’s constant policy changes.

You see they (and myself) started trading on eBay when eBay was an auction site that also sold things, as opposed to its current incarnation which is a shopping site that allows auctions. That is the crux of the problem, most people have failed to take into account this fundamental shift in eBay’s business model.

eBay decided several years ago to charm the high street stores and big sellers to their platform, essentially they wanted to be the new Amazon and to be bigger and better. The flaw in the plan is that the two business models are very different.

eBay introduced a raft of changes that effectively finished off a lot of eBayer’s by ensuring that their products were all but invisible in the search results. It’s incomprehensible best match policy killed off a range of good selling products of my own and they also banned some of my products that were being sold by other sellers and remain so to this day. I cannot relist them because I risk being banned.

banned

They also banned my account for 3 weeks a few years ago because I was selling a product widely available not only on eBay, but in street markets and well known high street stores it is still on sale at all 3 outlets even today. They did explain to me why I could not sell it, but the document they sent me was in Korean and my Korean is rather rusty. I just wish that I had paid more attention at school!

Now, I still make a great income from eBay but due to eBays constant fiddling I have had to shift my markets several times. Five years ago I published Plugin Auction Profits (PIAP) my complete guide to profiting from eBay.

Image4

My intention was to update this on a regular basis to reflect the changes eBay would introduce for sellers (but a revision every 15 minutes proved to be a bit much!), revision of PIAP always seemed to be the next task, one that I never got around to.

One of the most often asked questions is how to find products for resale at a profit on eBay. Well on Friday 6th March I found 6 products in less than 15 minutes that are being sold by local wholesalers and doing a large volume of sales on eBay. I even shot a video of me doing it.

I have spent the past 6 months trialing new niches and refining my old eBay niches with some success and now seemed the appropriate time to completely update and revise PIAP.

So I have done this with a complete revision of the written materials, shot over 20 new videos showing the complete setup process, sourcing products and listing them for sale. I have nearly finished the product creation phase then the website will be rebuilt as a membership site.

PIAP is dead! I have removed it from the Clickbank market place. Plug In Auction Profits 2 is on its way!

eBay Opportunities Don’t Come Any Easier Than This!

October 29, 2013 By Robert Corrigan Leave a Comment

As you may know my background is in selling on eBay so I am always looking for those little eBay opportunities that are easy to run and bring in cash on a regular basis. Today I have a great little opportunity that I want to tell you about.

It’s called Easy Auction Income

If your inbox is anything like mine you see new products being launched on a regular basis, some are really good and some promise the earth and give you gravel…

…you know the kind where you get to the end and have to purchase again to get to the juice, or you get so far into it and find you need to attend the local college to understand the jargon, all been there right!

Well today I want to tell you about Easy Auction Income, which doesn’t only talk about the juice it shows you in fine detail exactly what you need to do to succeed.

The product has been created by Steve King and Barry Wells, both of whom are long term eBay sellers, who have joined forces on eBay and started selling Photo Prints with almost instant success.

After the first 30 days they were able to transfer £350 ($500 approx.) to their bank, 30 days! And yes, they display proof of that…. as well as the following 2 months.

You see these guys have only been doing this for just 90 days but with their combined knowledge they’ve hit on a winning formula and are now ready to share…

Easy Auction Income is a complete Video Coaching Program showing you how these guys source and sell their Photo Prints on eBay. In fact you’ll actually be looking over their shoulders as they take care of their business on eBay.

These guys are showing you everything they apply to their process and leave nothing out of the equation, the videos include:

• An Introduction to the coaching program with some details of how these guys came up with the idea and started making money with it.
• What tool you’re going to need to get started, many of which you’ll probably have on your PC already.
• Where to find the pictures that you’re going to be selling, remember these guys are already selling them.
• How and where to source the materials you’ll need to dispatch your items and make them look as professional as possible to impress your customers.
• How to start creating listing on eBay with tips on titles and descriptions, categories and the timing of your listings. They’re also including some listing templates to improve your presentations and show you some of their own.
• The art of communication and how to keep your customer in the loop every step of the way, which can be automated so you do not have to send them individual emails.
• How to take care in the presentation and packaging of the items sold so when the customers receive them there’s a wow factor that instantly impresses them and removes the chances of complaints.
• The importance of positive feedback and how to generate a high feedback score that will help you as a seller. As well as some neat tricks for avoiding negative feedback and how to deal with it with you need to.
• How to generate repeat business and bring your customers back time after time, with a really simple trick that these guys are using themselves.

This isn’t one of those over hyped eBay products that lead you to spending lots of money to get started; in fact this is the exact opposite as your outlay is very small and you only produce your prints once you made a sale.

You see the best part of all this is I know Steve and Barry personally having worked with them on different projects since 2009, I know that this opportunity is solid gold.

This really is the complete package that will have you earning an extra income with ease.

Check it out by clicking the Graphic

I highly recommend that you grab Easy Auction Income and start making some money from the comfort of home.

The Book eBay Banned

September 12, 2013 By Robert Corrigan Leave a Comment

Over the years I have had a few spats with eBay about one thing or another, despite having other sources of income (always remember not to put all your eggs in one basket) I still sell on eBay.

I sell largely on autopilot on what I call a continual sales system (CSS). I am a great believer in doing the work once, i.e. writing one excellent description and listing that will be used for years. Apart from the occasional minor tweaks it has been very successful.

eBay have however with there continual changes almost wiped out my business on no less than three occasions, its vociferous courting of high street retailers and big brands have pushed out a lot of the small traders. I was once banned for 21 days for selling a product that was on sale in several high street stores and which is still being sold in these shops today.

Only last week I looked at all the eBay trader’s information that I had saved. I was shocked to discover that almost 40% of them no longer trade on eBay. Perhaps victims of the ever changing policies? This continual change has led me to diversify what I do online to include Amazon Kindle, my own products and affiliate marketing. I still do sell on eBay but the latest spat with eBay just takes the biscuit.

I sell a product for £2 (approx $3) Make Money On eBay Wholesale Suppliers List Where The Powersellers Get Stock. It is list of wholesale suppliers that I have used to build my own business on eBay.

Secret

I have been told this week that it has been banned for violating yet another eBay policy. I have been selling this for years and is my best selling Information Product on eBay.

I got the usual link to the eBay policy, and have replied to the message, here is a short extract.

Do you not think that anyone buying a list with the title Make Money On eBay Wholesale Suppliers List. “Secret Sources revealed: Where The Powersellers Buy Their Stock” from eBay would be selling the stock they bought on eBay?

I did an eBay search for wholesale lists and got 207 returns across all categories and 14 in Information Products, these 14 appear to be identical in content to my own now banned offering.

I have asked for a full response to my message not another reference to an eBay policy page, is that an airborne porcine I see out the window?

Product Creation: A Day At The Office

April 3, 2013 By Robert Corrigan 12 Comments

Firstly a question, where do you work best?

Mostly I work at home in my office, but just occasionally I like to expand my horizons a bit and become more flexible inn my working practices. On these days I prefer to work in one of the many office spaces that are available to me in the fair city of Liverpool. I think these are also known as pubs?

My current “office” (where I wrote this) is known as Bier and is an excellent venue with its selection of quality ales and imported beer it comes highly recommended, (but not on a Saturday night when the worlds worst DJ excels in driving away good custom after attempting first to burst their ear drums).

But is beer and work a good combination?

In my case yes, for me it’s liberating to be away from home with the frequent distractions and constant pinging of the email. Warning me of yet another cannot do without thingumy is for sale and if I don’t buy it now at a massive discount it may be gone forever, it just destroys the erm, what’s it called? Oh yes concentration.

I never take a laptop, or a netbook and the IPad is still where I left it, just me a writing pad a pen and a pint.

Productive, well I have in the past hour, written the copy for my eBay listing of “War of the Worlds.”

War of the Worlds Audio MP3

Brainstormed a selection of books for Kindle, Written a description and planned the eBay listing of some software products I am going to sell.

Astronomy Software

Come up with three new product ideas, and written this blog post.

So a fruitful day all round, plus I managed to save 2 pence in real money due to the reduction in excise duty on beer by our chancellor in the latest budget. Thanks George, what ever will I spend it on?

So it only remains for me to ask. How do you like to work?

The Easiest eBay Start-Up Ever?

February 20, 2013 By Robert Corrigan 16 Comments

One of the major problems with selling on eBay is the money you need to spend to invest in stock to resell before you even make a sale.

No matter how much you research your market there is always the possibility that some of the products you buy to resell will be complete turkeys, even if someone else is selling the same product successfully and at a higher price.

After all isn’t the idea of selling on eBay to make money and not to lose it? So here is an opportunity to make start with NO cash at all.

These are products that are available free, you only pay a tiny fee to list the product. This idea may never make you a full time income but it does have the following advantages.

  • The products are FREE

  • The listing fees are very small

  • There are many thousands of these products for you to choose from

I am talking here of using Public Domain (PD) materials or in other word products whose copyright have expired, or are free of any copyright restrictions.

The big boom market is in Audio Books at the moment, the Kindle Fire, Ipad, Ipod and other portable devices that can play MP3 files have fuelled the demand. This creates a business opportunity for us to tap into.

Here are just a few examples of sellers reselling materials in the Public Domain.

Look at the sales numbers 197!

What about radio shows or TV shows or even films in the public domain

Plus it does not stop with audio books, there is a big demand for e-books in different formats for the e-reader market:

Don’t forget video

Any one of these or a similar product will give you a good start plus this is all done on a shoestring, the downside is that selling prices are generally low but apart from the disk, postage and a small eBay fee the rest is yours.

So how do you start in the public domain? Well here is a freebie to get you started, it is by Steve Poke, and as far as PD is concerned he really knows how to make this work as a business.

DOWNLOAD YOUR COPY HERE

Is this one of the easiest start-ups ever? I think so.

If you have found this interesting remember It’s good to share. Please leave a comment.
